Before You Begin

Please review the eligibility requirements here.  Keep in mind that the nominee must have contributed in at least two (2) of the four (4) areas listed.

If your nominee meets all the requirements, continue by completing the electronic nomination form on this page, or if you prefer to submit a paper form instead, there is a downloadable form at this linkPaper forms must be received at our PO box by April 4, 2025, so be sure to allow ample time for mail delivery.
 

IMPORTANT – the Selection Committee will judge your nominee solely on the information you provide. Selection will not be made on the personal knowledge of the Selection Committee, but only on what is contained in your application. It is not the number of nominations submitted but the completeness of the application that is important.

Nominations will close on April 4, 2025. 

Whether you wish to tell your nominee that you are nominating them for Citizen of the Year is for you to decide. The Selection Committee will not release the names of any nominees other than the name of that person selected as Citizen of the Year. After presentation of the Citizen of the Year Award, applications for persons not selected will be retained for another year and then be destroyed.
